Membership

Joining Seymour United Methodist Church is really simple, but membership is an awesome responsibility. We invite you to attend “Discover Seymour”, which is a prospective member class first. We’re looking for people who will make a profound commitment to God by your Prayers, your Presence, your Gifts,your Service, and your Witness.

You may wish to join by your profession and belief in God’s love revealed to us in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus or you may wish to transfer from another church in which you were baptized.

September Conversations with Pastor Brad

Have you been attending Seymour U.M.C. for a while? Maybe for a short amount of time? Are you interested in becoming a member of the church? Do you have questions about membership? Do you want to learn more about Seymour U.M.C. and its ministries? Do you want to learn more about the United Methodist Church? If any of these questions resonate with you, then please join Pastor Brad during the month of September in the Sunday Morning Breakfast Room (Fellowship Hall) for some doughnuts, coffee, and informal conversations.

We will meet together for these 4 Sundays during the Sunday School time (10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.), and we will spend time getting to know one another and having some good conversations. If you know anyone else who might like this opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the church, please invite them.
