Children
Seymour United Methodist Church has a variety of children’s ministry activities ongoing beyond Sunday School.
Children’s Church:
In order to provide our children with the best possible worship experience, we offer a children's church time during both our 8:45am and our 11am services. Children's church is for children ages 4 years through 2nd grade. Children younger than four years old may attend our nursery, while children older than second grade are encourged to sit with their families during worship. Children attending children's church will begin in the sanctuary with their families and be dismissed at the appropriate time to room 108 where they are to be picked up following worship. There children learn appropriate worship behavior, as well as learn that God loves them and desires a personal relationship with them.
