Older Adult Ministries
Seymour United Methodist Church offers older adults opportunities for spiritual growth, as well as social fellowship. Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and Wednesday night classes allow our older adults to actively engage in spiritual endeavors, while our older adult council plans activities to keep us young at heart. These activities include luncheons, trips to the Cumberland Playhouse, special speakers, a Christmas banquet, and more.
Our older adults are an active part of our church. They serve as ushers, greeters, Sunday School teachers, and many other ways in our church. They provide assistance to various groups such as C.R.O.S.S. and Lost Sheep, as well as volunteering in our local schools.
